PaperSaver

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

1. Agreement

By installing or using PaperSaver ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. The Service

PaperSaver is a Chrome browser extension that helps you save academic papers to Notion, Zotero, Google Scholar, and your local device in one click. It also provides a personal Library where you can view your save history.

The Extension is provided by Ioannis Marios Stavropoulos ("the Developer"), an independent developer.

3. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. The trial begins at the moment you first sign in. No payment details are required to start a trial.

The trial exists so you can fully evaluate the Extension before subscribing. You are encouraged to test all features — including saving papers across all supported publishers — during your trial period.

4. Pricing and Payment

After the trial period, an active subscription is required for continued access. The current price is €3.49 per month. Payment is processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, who act as Merchant of Record.

Your subscription renews automatically each month. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Lemon Squeezy account portal. After cancellation, access remains active until the end of the current billing period — no further charges will be made.

Because PaperSaver offers a free trial before any payment is required, refunds for charges already made are not provided — including in cases where:

We believe the 7-day trial period gives you sufficient opportunity to assess whether the Extension meets your needs before subscribing.

6. Maintenance and Updates

The Developer is committed to maintaining PaperSaver, including:

However, the Developer makes no guarantee of specific uptime, response time, or the availability of any particular feature at any given time. Academic publishers and third-party services change their websites and APIs without notice, and temporary breakage may occur. The Developer will make reasonable efforts to restore functionality promptly.

7. Limitations of the Service

PaperSaver depends on third-party services outside the Developer's control. The following limitations are inherent to the service and do not constitute defects:

8. Account and Access

Your account is tied to your Notion user identity. Access purchased on one account is not transferable to another account. You are responsible for keeping your Notion account secure.

If you uninstall and reinstall the Extension, you can recover your account and purchase by signing in again with the same Notion account.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Extension to:

10. Intellectual Property

The Extension and its source code are the property of the Developer. The Extension is not open source. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for its intended purpose.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access to third-party services, or loss of research materials.

13. Changes to These Terms

The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece.
